Senior Auditor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Auditor to join their internal audit team on a fully remote basis. This role is critical in assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across the organisation. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on a variety of audit assignments, providing assurance and recommendations for improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document internal audit engagements in accordance with professional standards.
• Assess risks and controls related to financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Develop clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness.
• Liaise with external auditors as necessary.
• Stay abreast of changes in audit methodologies, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and data analysis tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively in a remote context.
