Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions.
• Architect and specify control system hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within existing automation infrastructure, minimising downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems, including functional design specifications and programming standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial automation engineering.
• Extensive experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Logix) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding of industrial networks, robotics, and machine vision systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex automation projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with strong leadership potential.
• Experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment.
