Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of automotive battery systems, including BMS hardware and software.
• Perform detailed analysis of battery performance, thermal management, and safety characteristics.
• Develop and implement testing protocols for battery cells, modules, and packs under various operating conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery systems into vehicle platforms.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant automotive safety standards and regulations for battery systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to battery performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on energy storage.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive battery system design and development.
• In-depth knowledge of battery chemistries, cell balancing, thermal management, and BMS algorithms.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL) and data analysis software.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards for automotive systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills suitable for a remote leadership role.
