About the Role

In this vital role, you will be responsible for protecting connected vehicle systems from evolving cyber threats. You will conduct threat intelligence analysis, vulnerability assessments, and incident response for automotive networks and software. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from connected vehicle platforms for potential threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive software and hardware components.
• Develop and implement threat detection and response strategies for automotive cybersecurity incidents.
• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities specific to the automotive industry and connected car technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the vehicle development lifecycle.
• Create detailed reports on security posture, incidents, and recommended mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on embedded systems or IoT security.
• Strong understanding of automotive cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434) and frameworks.
• Proficiency in security analysis tools, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices relevant to automotive applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, particularly in a remote team setting.
