Senior Automotive Electronics Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Electronics Engineer to join their innovative team in Brighton . Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate electronic control units (ECUs) and related hardware components for automotive applications.
• Develop schematics, perform circuit analysis, and select appropriate electronic components.
• Create and execute test plans for electronic systems, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and software functionalities seamlessly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electronic hardware issues during development and production phases.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automotive electronics, including emerging technologies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant professional experience as an Automotive Electronics Engineer .
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Experience with power electronics, sensor integration, and signal integrity analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
