Senior Automotive Embedded Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust embedded software for automotive ECUs and systems.
• Architect and implement software solutions that adhere to automotive standards, including AUTOSAR.
• Optimize software performance, memory usage, and real-time capabilities.
• Perform detailed code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing for embedded systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including hardware, systems, and quality assurance engineers, in a remote setting .
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and system-level issues.
• Mentor junior embedded software engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, with at least 5 years specifically in the automotive industry .
• Deep expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems design patterns.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
• Familiarity with automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is a plus.
