Key Responsibilities

• Investigate material failures and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Develop and implement material specifications and standards for new vehicle programs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in materials engineering, with a focus on the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of polymers, metals, composites, and their manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in material testing techniques and equipment.
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
