Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications, ensuring performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of designs using simulation tools and physical prototypes.
• Analyze test data and technical reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automotive mechanical engineering and material science.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, chassis, and suspension systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to engineering challenges.
• Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
