Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automotive Mechanical Engineer to join their advanced engineering team in Norwich . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex automotive mechanical systems (e.g., powertrain, chassis, suspension).
- Perform detailed mechanical design and analysis using CAD and CAE tools.
- Conduct prototype testing and validation, analyzing results to ensure performance and durability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are feasible for mass production.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reports and specifications.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in automotive mechanical engineering .
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS).
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with project management and leading engineering teams.
