Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced powertrain components and systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, electric drivetrains).
• Conduct performance simulations, analysis, and testing to optimize efficiency and power output.
• Ensure powertrain systems meet stringent emissions regulations and performance targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chassis, electrical, and software engineers.
• Manage supplier relationships for powertrain components and technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical direction of the powertrain department.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in automotive powertrain design and development.
• In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, or electric vehicle powertrains.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, GT-SUITE, or similar.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and control systems.
