Senior Automotive Quality Inspector

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Automotive Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing facility in Bradford . This role is critical in ensuring that all manufactured automotive components meet rigorous quality standards and specifications. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to maintain the highest levels of product quality. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of automotive parts and assemblies according to quality plans and standards.
• Utilize various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product conformance.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and defects found during inspections.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure that all quality control procedures are followed and maintained accurately.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and defect prevention strategies within the automotive manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Quality Inspector role, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as CMM, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards is a plus.
