About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Automotive Software Developer to join their innovative hybrid team in Nottingham . This role is central to developing sophisticated software solutions for modern vehicles, encompassing areas such as infotainment, connectivity, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). You will lead development efforts, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust software. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for automotive applications using languages like C++, Java, or Python.
• Implement software features for infotainment systems, vehicle connectivity, and ADAS functionalities.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with system engineers, hardware developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, ensuring timely resolution and product stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development , with significant exposure to the automotive industry.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (C++, Java, Python).
• Experience with automotive software architectures, such as AUTOSAR, is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with software development tools, including IDEs, version control systems (Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
