Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive control units and infotainment systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers in a remote setting.
• Implement and optimize software performance, ensuring adherence to stringent automotive industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions for new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects, ensuring the reliability and safety of automotive systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies within a remote-first culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in embedded software development, specifically within the automotive industry .
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and debugging techniques.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
