About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate software components for automotive control units and infotainment systems using C/C++.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and systems architects, to define software requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Optimize software performance for real-time embedded systems, adhering to strict automotive standards and safety protocols.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects discovered during testing or in production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development , specifically within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team setting.
