About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Technician to join their dynamic workshop team in Leicester . This pivotal role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards. You will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction through expert workmanship and efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments on vehicles using advanced testing equipment and interpret results accurately.
• Execute complex repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and electrical components.
• Conduct routine vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and multi-point inspections.
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer specifications and within agreed timeframes.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the workshop.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician , with at least 5 years in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools specific to various vehicle makes and models.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and mechanical principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
