About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Aviation Compliance Specialist to join their team remotely, ensuring adherence to the complex regulatory landscape of the aviation industry. This role is essential for maintaining the company's operational integrity and mitigating risks associated with non-compliance. You will be responsible for interpreting regulations, developing compliance policies, conducting audits, and providing expert guidance to internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation law and a meticulous approach to ensuring that all operations meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory adherence, contributing to the company's reputation and long-term success from any location.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret evolving aviation regulations from authorities such as SACAA, EASA, and FAA.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert advice and training to operational teams on regulatory requirements.
- Manage regulatory documentation and ensure timely submission of required reports.
- Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience with compliance management systems and audit procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
