Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Aviation Systems Integrator to join their innovative team in Derby . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of diverse aviation systems, including avionics, navigation, communication, and mission systems.
- Develop detailed system integration plans, procedures, and test protocols.
- Define system requirements, interfaces, and architecture for new aircraft programs.
- Oversee and execute system integration testing, validation, and verification activities.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and develop effective solutions to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to achieve integration objectives.
- Ensure all integration activities comply with stringent aerospace standards and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems integration , preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience with avionics systems, data buses (e.g., ARINC 429, AFDX), and communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles, requirements management, and V&V processes.
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools for system integration and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
