Senior Avionics Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex avionics systems and subsystems.
• Lead the integration of new avionics hardware and software into aircraft platforms.
• Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting of avionics issues, ensuring system reliability.
• Develop and execute test plans for avionics components and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, in a fully remote environment .
• Ensure all designs and implementations comply with aviation standards such as DO-178C and DO-254.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in avionics engineering .
• Expertise in designing, testing, and integrating flight control systems, navigation systems, or communication systems.
• Proficiency with avionics standards, protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553), and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
