Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control subsystems.
• Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and verification plans.
• Oversee the integration of avionics components and software, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Conduct system-level testing, simulation, and validation activities to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams, as well as external suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers involved in avionics development.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in avionics systems design, development, and integration.
• Deep understanding of avionic architectures, communication protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553), and flight management systems.
• Proficiency with avionics simulation tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Experience with safety-critical software development standards (e.g., DO-178C) and airworthiness certification processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities for remote collaboration.
