Senior Backend Developer - FinTech

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems and APIs using languages like Python, Java, or Go.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for speed, reliability, and security.
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with financial regulations and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, participating actively in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in backend software development , with a focus on financial services or FinTech.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Deep understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, and message queues.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems is highly desirable.
