Senior Backend Developer - Microservices

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for backend microservices.
• Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication between services and with external partners.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and technical specifications.
• Implement robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure code quality.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or C# .
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, and caching mechanisms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
