Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in languages like Python, Java, or Go.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver features.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and message queues.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
