Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code using the Django framework.
• Build and maintain robust APIs and microservices for various application needs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior backend engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development .
• Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with the Django framework .
• Solid understanding of database technologies, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and ORMs.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
