Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for efficiency and reliability.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to high standards of software quality.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, frontend engineers, and DevOps, to deliver features seamlessly.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing insightful feedback and upholding code quality across the team.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, implement effective solutions, and contribute to on-call rotations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend software development .
- Strong proficiency with at least one modern backend language such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
- Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to excel in a fully remote , asynchronous work environment.
