Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, participating actively in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to minimize downtime.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers in backend development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized deployments is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively independently in a remote environment.
