About the Role

Our client, a modern and stylish barbershop in Reading , is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Barber to join their team. This role is perfect for a barber with excellent cutting, styling, and grooming skills, who also possesses strong customer service abilities and a passion for men's grooming. As a senior member, you will be expected to provide top-tier service to a diverse clientele, mentor junior barbers, and contribute to the shop's reputation for quality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

• Perform expert men's haircuts, fades, tapers, beard trims, and hot towel shaves.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide recommendations for styles and grooming products.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the barbershop and with tools.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest barbering trends and techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior barbers in the team.

Requirements

• Recognized barbering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a professional Barber.
• Proficiency in a variety of scissor and clipper cutting techniques.
• Skilled in traditional hot towel shaves and beard grooming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for men's grooming and staying current with industry trends.
