About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Senior Beauty Therapist & Makeup Artist to join their exclusive salon and bridal services in Reading . This dynamic role requires a professional who excels in both high-level beauty treatments and creating stunning makeup looks for various occasions, particularly bridal. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, from detailed consultations to the final application, ensuring client satisfaction and upholding the salon's reputation for quality and artistry. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of beauty treatments, including advanced facials, waxing, tinting, and manicure/pedicure services.
• Provide expert makeup application for special occasions, including bridal, photographic, and evening events.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their beauty needs, preferences, and desired outcomes.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current makeup trends and beauty treatment advancements.
• Manage and maintain a clean, well-stocked, and professional treatment and makeup station.
• Promote retail products and provide clients with tailored advice for home care and makeup application.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Beauty Therapy and Makeup Artistry.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Beauty Therapist and practicing Makeup Artist .
• Proven portfolio showcasing expertise in various makeup styles, particularly bridal and occasion makeup.
• Proficiency in a range of beauty treatments, with excellent client consultation skills.
• Strong understanding of skin types and how to prepare skin for makeup application.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently.
