About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Beauty Therapist & Skincare Consultant to join their upscale spa in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK . This role involves providing a full range of advanced beauty treatments, alongside expert skincare consultations, helping clients achieve optimal skin health and radiance. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, maintaining the highest standards of service, and potentially mentoring junior therapists. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide array of advanced beauty treatments, including facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and body treatments.
• Conduct in-depth skincare consultations , analyzing skin types and conditions to recommend personalized treatment and home care plans.
• Provide expert advice on product selection and usage, ensuring clients understand how to maintain their results.
• Maintain immaculate treatment rooms and adhere to strict hygiene and safety regulations.
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and products in the beauty therapy and skincare industry.
• Assist in training and guiding junior members of the beauty team, sharing expertise and best practices.

Requirements

• A professional qualification in Beauty Therapy (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Beauty Therapist , with a focus on advanced skincare.
• Demonstrable expertise in performing various facial treatments and consultations.
• Excellent knowledge of skin physiology, ingredients, and common skin concerns.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
• A proactive approach to client care and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
