About the Role

Our client, a luxurious spa and beauty clinic in Reading , is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Beauty Therapist & Skincare Expert . This role involves providing a comprehensive range of high-end beauty treatments, with a particular focus on advanced skincare. You will be expected to offer expert consultations, diagnose skin conditions, and prescribe personalized treatment plans and product regimes. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to training junior therapists and maintaining the clinic's reputation for excellence in Berkshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments.
• Conduct detailed skin analysis using diagnostic tools and provide expert recommendations for treatments and homecare.
• Administer a variety of beauty treatments including waxing, tinting, and massage.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene standards and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
• Mentor and guide junior beauty therapists, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Stay current with the latest trends, products, and technologies in the skincare and beauty industry.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Beauty Therapy.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Beauty Therapist, with a strong specialization in advanced skincare.
• Proven experience with diagnostic tools and prescription of effective skincare regimes.
• Excellent knowledge of skin physiology, cosmetic ingredients, and treatment modalities.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in clinic management software is advantageous.
