About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and highly skilled Senior BIM Architect to join their established practice in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK . This role is critical for driving the adoption and effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all project phases. You will lead BIM strategies, develop standards, and provide expert guidance to design teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and enhanced project delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for architectural projects.
- Create and manage BIM standards, templates, and libraries for the practice.
- Provide training and technical support to architects and designers on BIM software and processes.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective model coordination and clash detection.
- Integrate BIM with other project disciplines, including structural and MEP engineering.
- Stay current with advancements in BIM technology and best practices relevant to projects in South Yorkshire .
Requirements
- Professional architectural qualification (ARB/RIBA or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- In-depth expertise in BIM software, particularly Revit, and proficiency with Navisworks for coordination.
- Proven experience in implementing BIM on medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of UK BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with other architectural design and documentation software.
