About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Architect for a fully remote position. This role is critical in driving the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all architectural projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and best practices, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration among project teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect with a deep understanding of BIM technology to shape the future of design and construction delivery from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards , protocols, and workflows.
- Lead and mentor project teams in the effective use of BIM software and tools.
- Oversee the creation and management of architectural models and data.
- Ensure the coordination and clash detection between different disciplines within the BIM environment.
- Provide technical support and training to architectural and design staff on BIM best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define BIM execution plans.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with extensive experience in BIM implementation and management.
- In-depth knowledge of Revit and other industry-standard BIM software.
- Strong understanding of national and international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Proven ability to develop and enforce BIM protocols and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and training skills, suitable for a remote working environment.
- Experience in leading BIM initiatives on complex projects.
