About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior BIM Architect to join their fully remote team. This role is central to driving the adoption and advancement of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all architectural projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows, ensuring seamless integration and data management throughout the project lifecycle. This position demands a proactive individual with deep technical expertise in BIM software and a passion for leveraging digital technologies to enhance design and construction processes. Ideal for a seasoned BIM specialist looking for a challenging remote role with significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies, standards, and protocols for the architectural practice.
- Create and manage complex BIM models , ensuring data integrity and coordination across disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and training to architectural teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Oversee the integration of BIM data with other project information systems.
- Develop and maintain content libraries for families, templates, and project execution plans.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient use of BIM throughout the design, construction, and operational phases.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Architecture or a related built environment discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural practice with a strong focus on BIM implementation and management.
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a deep understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Experience with information management, clash detection, and model federation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and mentor remote teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
