Senior BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join their innovative team in Cambridge . This role is central to managing and implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across a variety of exciting projects. You will be responsible for developing BIM strategies, coordinating models from different disciplines, and ensuring adherence to project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to significantly influence the digital delivery of architectural projects within a practice known for its cutting-edge approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM coordination efforts for complex architectural and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Conduct clash detection and model quality checks using software such as Navisworks.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with project teams and external consultants.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within an architectural or construction environment.
• Expertise in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience in coordinating large-scale projects is highly desirable.
