Senior BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client, a leading architectural and design consultancy based in Reading , is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to enhance their Building Information Modeling capabilities. You will play a vital role in managing and implementing BIM workflows across a range of complex projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and data management. This position requires a deep technical understanding of BIM software and processes, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across project lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific BIM standards.
• Coordinate and clash-detect models from various disciplines using Navisworks or similar software.
• Train and support project teams in BIM software and best practices.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of BIM data for design, construction, and facility management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or Manager on significant architectural or construction projects.
• Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and protocols.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in training and mentoring team members is highly desirable.
