About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join their innovative team in Reading . This role is critical in managing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across a range of significant projects. You will be responsible for establishing BIM standards, developing workflows, and leading coordination efforts to ensure seamless collaboration between design and construction teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in BIM software and a proven ability to drive efficiency and accuracy through digital construction methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and management of BIM strategies and protocols across projects.
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs) and project-specific BIM standards.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models, resolve clashes, and ensure data integrity.
- Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective use of BIM throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor adherence to BIM standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes in Berkshire .
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM coordination and management, with significant experience in a senior role.
- Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri.
- Strong understanding of international BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in delivering BIM training and supporting project teams.
