About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to enhance their digital delivery capabilities within a remote-first setting. This role is critical for ensuring the effective implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across a diverse range of architectural projects. You will be responsible for coordinating model development, resolving clashes, and ensuring data integrity to support efficient design and construction. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of BIM software and workflows, coupled with strong collaborative and problem-solving skills, contributing to project success from anywhere in the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the development of BIM models from all disciplines, ensuring adherence to project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Conduct regular clash detection and model quality control checks, facilitating resolution of design conflicts.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of model data throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors, to facilitate effective BIM collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of BIM-managed projects.
- Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM coordination software.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Excellent understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP design coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
