Senior Bioinformatician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bioinformatician to join their cutting-edge research division. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust bioinformatic pipelines for the analysis of large-scale omics data.
• Perform statistical analysis and interpretation of high-throughput sequencing data (e.g., RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq).
• Collaborate with experimental biologists and researchers to define analytical strategies and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Develop custom scripts and tools to automate data processing and analysis workflows.
• Contribute to the interpretation of results, manuscript preparation, and presentation of findings.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in bioinformatics analysis, with a strong focus on omics data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, and experience with command-line tools for bioinformatics.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and version control systems (e.g., Git).
