About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Blockchain Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative blockchain solutions in Plymouth . You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain systems that address complex business challenges within the crypto and decentralized technology landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-grade blockchain architectures and distributed ledger technologies (DLTs).
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, consensus algorithms, and integration strategies.
• Develop comprehensive technical roadmaps and blueprints for blockchain solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of deployed blockchain solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a minimum of 5 years focused on blockchain technology and DLTs.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Solana) and their architectural patterns.
• Experience in designing and implementing smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cryptography, and network security principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
