About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Blockchain Engineer to contribute to their pioneering work in the crypto space, based in our Oxford office. You will be involved in the design, development, and implementation of scalable blockchain solutions and decentralized applications. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contract development, and the ability to lead complex technical projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Design and optimize blockchain architectures for scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and performance analysis of blockchain systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Blockchain Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Solidity, Rust, or Go.
• Deep understanding of blockchain principles, consensus algorithms, and cryptography.
• Experience with major blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana).
• Familiarity with DeFi and Web3 development concepts.
