Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure blockchain protocols and smart contracts.
• Implement and optimize distributed ledger technologies, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Conduct rigorous testing, code reviews, and security audits for blockchain components.
• Collaborate with product teams to define technical requirements and roadmaps for new features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's overall technical growth and best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in blockchain engineering .
• Proficiency in languages like Go, Rust, or Solidity, and experience with various blockchain platforms.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience in architecting and deploying large-scale blockchain solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a remote , distributed team environment, contributing to projects based out of Sheffield .
