About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Brand Manager to lead the strategic development and execution of iconic brands within the FMCG sector in Aberdeen . You will be instrumental in shaping brand vision, driving market share growth, and fostering innovation across product portfolios. This pivotal role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative flair, and a deep understanding of consumer insights to ensure our client's brands resonate with their target audiences and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, R&D, and supply chain, to deliver integrated brand experiences and achieve ambitious business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies , including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
- Manage the full marketing mix, including product innovation, pricing, promotion, and channel strategy.
- Oversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns and content across various platforms.
- Manage agency relationships and internal stakeholder alignment to ensure cohesive brand execution.
- Track brand performance metrics, ROI, and provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in brand management , specifically within the FMCG industry .
- Proven track record of successfully launching and growing brands in competitive markets.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research, consumer insights, and financial forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
