Senior Integration Architect London | Hybrid Arthur is supporting a global insurance organisation in the appointment of a Senior Integration Architect to join a growing architecture function at an exciting stage of technology transformation. This opportunity will suit an experienced architect who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, influencing technology strategy and working across a broad range of business and technology stakeholders. You'll play a key role in designing the future integration landscape, ensuring systems and partners can communicate securely, efficiently and at scale across underwriting, claims, finance and operational functions.

The Role

• Define and evolve enterprise integration strategy and architecture.
• Design secure and scalable integrations across a diverse technology ecosystem.
• Establish integration frameworks, governance standards and architectural patterns.
• Provide technical leadership across programmes and business-critical initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across technology, data, security and the wider business.
• Support connectivity with external partners, service providers and market platforms.
• Drive improvements in resilience, operational efficiency and system interoperability.
• Identify opportunities to modernise legacy integrations and reduce technical debt.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with experienced architects who can demonstrate:

• A strong background in Integration Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale integrations across complex environments.
• Expertise in API, messaging, event-driven and hybrid integration models.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based integration technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on solution design.

Technology Exposure Experience

Across a combination of the following would be beneficial:

• Azure Integration Services
• MuleSoft
• Boomi
• IBM MQ
• Kafka
• REST / SOAP
• XML / JSON
• Managed File Transfer solutions

Highly Desirable

• London Market or broader insurance sector experience.
• Lloyd's market knowledge.
• ACORD standards.
• TOGAF or similar architecture methodologies.
• Cloud or integration certifications.
