Senior Business Analyst - Consultancy

Our client, a leading management consultancy, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join their growing practice in Sunderland . You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, analyze complex business problems, and design effective solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders using various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Analyze data and business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during system implementation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates and insights.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Proven ability to gather and document complex business and functional requirements.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar requirements management software.
• Experience working in an Agile or Waterfall development environment.
