You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for key indirect and direct spend categories, achieving significant cost reductions and value improvements.
• Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers , conducting regular performance reviews and negotiating complex contracts.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's growth and operational objectives.
• Analyze market trends, commodity prices, and supplier capabilities to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments, including engineering, operations, and finance, to understand their needs and ensure effective purchasing solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Buyer or equivalent strategic sourcing role.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating high-value contracts and achieving substantial cost savings.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and contract law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, essential for managing supplier and internal stakeholder relationships in Coventry .
