You will be responsible for managing key supplier relationships and driving value through effective purchasing strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing and procurement of goods and services for designated categories.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
• Negotiate complex contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favourable conditions.
• Manage key supplier relationships, fostering partnerships and resolving escalated issues.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the supply base.
• Mentor junior members of the purchasing team and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Buyer or in a senior purchasing role.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex spend categories.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and procurement best practices.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
