Senior Buyer

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.

The role focuses on direct purchasing and sits within the Bought-Out Parts category, covering a wide range of commodities including films, foams, tapes, clips, coatings, stampings, fasteners, fixings and surface treatments.

Senior Buyer Permanent Salary dependent on experience Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 2pm Birmingham - Hybrid

Job Description

Day to day commercial management of the supplier base Negotiate prices and contract terms Manage RFQ (request for quotations) to SOP (start of production), including NPI (New product introduction) Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims Senior Buyer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar Experienced working within a fast-paced environment Senior Buyer Company Benefits
