Job Description
Morson Edge are currently seeking a Senior Category Buyer to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Yeovil.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out high value tenders either using SAP Ariba or Soucing Exception
- Carry out Long Term Pricing Agreement tenders using SAP Ariba or Soucing Exception
- Negotiation of Long Term Agreements (re-validation or new)
- Work with Geographic Procurement on sourcing decisions
- Scouting for new suppliers and supplier visits
- New supplier selection utilising SAP Ariba
- Strategic & Tactical Sourcing
Skills and experience required:
- Communication Skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Good negotiation skills
- SAP Experience
Hybrid
12 month contract initially
37 hours per week
