Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve existing catering operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage relationships with key food and beverage suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and ordering systems to maintain optimal levels.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations across all operational areas.
• Develop and implement training programs for catering staff on operational procedures and best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for catering operations and report on findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in catering operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a senior role.
• Proven track record of successfully improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and relevant UK regulations.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor staff.
