Job Description

I am currently on the lookout for a Strong Senior Chef De Partie for a newly refurbished country pub That is looking to expand their current exciting team.

The property currently has 10 ensuite bedrooms finished to a high standard and a 100-cover restaurant which they are expanding to 150 in the coming months.

During the new refurbishment the management team are currently fitting new gadgets and kits for the kitchen team, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding team serving modern European dishes to a high standard.

The average working week is 5 days over 7, average of 45 hours a week and the salary are dependent on experience, but the client is willing to pay up to £25,000 per annum with a good tips package and fantastic house sharing accommodation for only £95 per week with all bills included in that.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Chef De Partie to take on a step up to a senior CDP role and be mentored by the management team to start learning how to run a kitchen and gain vital management experience.

Candidate Role

• Work as part of a close team to develop the business and uphold the great reputation held
• Support the senior team with the day to day operations of the kitchen
• Assume responsibility of sections throughout the kitchen
• Report directly to the head chef & Sous chef
• Assist with the upkeep of kitchen hygiene protocols
• Assist in daily food prep and service
• Liaise with senior members to hand over orders and requirements

Candidate Specification:

• Similar experience in a fresh food kitchen is essential
• A strong Demi chef de partie would be considered for the role
• Have a keen eye for fine detail
• can work independently and as part of a team
• Be passionate and creative
• Previous experience working in a similar establishment
• Excellent time management skills are essential
• can listen to instructions and implement the kitchen’s high standard
