Senior Chemical Engineer - Project Management

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage chemical engineering projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and safe delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee process design, equipment selection, and installation for new or modified chemical plants.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, Operations, Procurement) and external contractors or vendors.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental legislation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff involved in project activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in chemical process design, project engineering, or project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex chemical engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with HAZOP, risk assessment, and process safety management.
